Dr Ehab Hennes
Dentist
BDSc, ADC
Dr Hennes has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. He has a particular interest and exceptional skills in Root Canal treatment. He has continued his postgraduate studies over the years to maintain and advance his dental skills. He strives to offer the best possible service for all of his patients in a relaxed and caring manner.
Dr Hennes is a member of Australian Dental Association, Australian Endodontic Society.
Dr Amal Ibrahim
Dental Specialist – Prosthodontist
BDSc, ADC, MDSc, DClinDent (Pros)
Dr Ibrahim has been practicing dentistry since 2001 and is a registered specialist Prosthodontist. She completed her specialist training at the University of Adelaide and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer there, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Her clinical interests include implant therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and the management of worn or heavily damaged teeth. Dr Ibrahim works collaboratively with referring dentists, dental specialists, technicians, and medical professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for her patients.
She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the International College of Prosthodontists, and the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists.


Dr Mena Gerges
Dentist
BDS (Adelaide)
Dr Gerges obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in cosmetic procedures, extractions, and root canal treatment.
He is dedicated to building strong relationships with his patients, taking the time to understand their concerns and ensure their needs are carefully addressed.
Georgina Balnaves
Oral Health Therapist-Adult scope

Georgina is a qualified dental hygienist and Oral health therapist who graduated in 2006 from University of Adelaide and joined the Gorge Road Dental team in 2008. Since then, she has continued her professional development with study in Orthopantomogram (OPG) radiography and stainless-steel crown placement at the University of Adelaide, as well as whitening procedures at the University of Queensland.
Georgina has undertaken further training in Oral Facial Myology, enabling her to assess and treat the muscles of the face to support healthy function—particularly with a keen interest in helping children manage thumb and digit sucking habits.
In 2023, Georgina completed a Graduate Certificate in Oral Health Science, strengthening her ability to provide excellent dental care for patients of all ages.
Georgina’s focus is on supporting long-term oral health by helping patients maintain healthy gums and teeth for life. She has a special interest in paediatric care, and her warm, friendly approach helps children—and parents—feel comfortable and at ease during every visit. She is also a member of the Oral Health Association of Australia.


Kate Johns-Forbes
Oral Health Therapist-Adult scope
BOH (Adelaide), GCOHSc (Adelaide)
Kate completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2018 and has since furthered her qualifications with a Graduate Certificate in Oral Health Science, allowing her to treat patients of all ages. With over ten years of experience in the dental field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
She is an Academic Clinical Tutor in the Oral Health program at the University of Adelaide and currently serves as the SA/NT Branch Chair for the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ Association (ADOHTA). Committed to ongoing professional development, Kate is currently undertaking a Master of Clinical Education as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Kate has a strong interest in preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. She enjoys working with both adults and children to help them achieve their oral health goals and is well known among the team for her kind, gentle, and patient-focused care.
